Non-Renewable Energy – The question of whether or not we should use renewable or non-renewable energy sources is one that has been debated for many years. When we burn coal, we release into the air the same gases that were released when those plants and animals died. The same goes for oil and natural gas. These are also considered non-renewable resources because they can only be found in the ground and cannot be created anymore.

Renewable energy sources are different from non-renewable energy. Renewable energy is energy that can be produced again and again. It is energy that can be made from things that are alive. For example, wind power is a renewable resource because it can be made from the wind. Solar power is another renewable resource because it can be generated from the sun. If we use renewable energy, we can help to prevent the depletion of non-renewable resources. We can also help to reduce our dependence on foreign countries for these resources. This can make us safer because if we are dependent on other countries for these resources, then if they decide to cut off our access to them, we will be hurt.
